About me.

Screenwriter & Director
Co-founder of Las Chicas de la Cabra

I'm Daniela Naranjo, a screenwriter and director developing short and feature films. Currently, I'm completing a short film (WIP) built from personal archival footage while developing the feature documentary OMN. With "Why Do You Only Call on Fridays?" I participated in WOS Fabrique 2025 and was selected for the Cannes Writing Hub at the Marché du Film 2026.I hold a degree in Audiovisual Communication from the University of Medellín and completed a Master’s in Screenwriting and a Master’s in Film Criticism at ECAM.I work as a screenwriter in the Content Development department at Komodo Studio (Madrid), focusing on documentary, non-fiction and entertainment projects. I was part of the creative team behind "Metamorfosis: Aitana" (Netflix, 2025) and a screenwriter on the series "Infiltrados" for Prime Video.I'm also co-founder of the independent film production company Las Chicas de la Cabra. And I bring over 13 years of experience in audiovisual production across formats including commercials, music videos, short films and fashion films with shoots in locations such as the Galápagos Islands and Egypt.
